Central Alabama is getting hit with lots of heavy rainfall this morning. The rain is causing major flooding in several areas including Shelby County. As of 4:00 a.m., Fox Valley Farms Road at Highway 17 in Alabaster is impassable because of flooding. We’re told there are about 30 families who live on the road.
